Well today I was bored and I began to contemplate the vast complexities of the universe. Aided by some Chopin, I looked into the Deep Field Photo. If you've never heard of it then I suggest you watch this
video. As I took in the vastness I began to feel zen like, and then I began to philosophize about all types of crazy stuff like is there life somewhere else in the universe, what does it all mean, etc. My questions for you, my good people, is what makes you feel zen like? and what do you do to relax and philosophize?
The Hubble Deep Field Photograph: NASA had the Hubble telescope look at a spot in the sky the literal size of a thumbnail. This is what it saw. Each bright spot you see is a galaxy. Each galaxy is the home of billions and billions of stars. Each star could have it's own solar system. This should make anyone feel small.

Being a part-time philosophizer I find it just comes naturally. Also, standing next to a lit fire place with my trusty pipe and my good buddy Watson, seems to stir the intellectual juices.
