Special Relativity
I have many heroes. One of them is Einstein. Mostly because I believe that he was not actually a person and was a super computer sent back in time from the future to amaze us with his intellect. Yes, in the future computers are narcissistic. Anyway, one of the coolest things Einstein came up with was the Theory of Special Relativity. And let me tell you, it explains some pretty messed up stuff. Here's a link that explains it in lamen's terms if you are so interested. I actually went over this topic in my philosophy class and we discussed it as a prelude to the idea of time travel. Time travel backwards is pretty much impossible by the way. Sorry all you DeLorian owners...

It's more than that. Its supposed to be the bridge of everything. I personally have a hard time believing it as it requires at least 11 dimensions. I have trouble with the 4.
